AGC OF AMERICA SUSAN HARWOOD FALL PREVENTION IN CONSTRUCTION SAFETY TRAINING

Description

Construction workers make up approximately five percent of the country's workforce but account for an average of 19% of all job related fatalities each year. In addition, falls account for the greatest number of fatalities in the construction industry, especially among small businesses and businesses with Hispanic workers. Over the past 10 years, at least an average of 371 workers were killed from falls, slips, and trips, and fall protection violations continue to be among the most cited standards in the construction industry, consistently topping the list of OSHA's most frequently cited violations. AGC of America is pleased to offer this NO-COST one-day training program based on OSHA standards and best practices to answer the need for quality training within the industry. 

Continuing education credits are available for this course.  This course is approved for 0.8 IACET CEUs, for those attendees who are interested in continuing education credits.  The Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) is accredited by the International Accreditors for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) and offers IACET CEUs for its learning events that comply with the ANSI/IACET Continuing Education and Training Standard.  IACET is recognized internationally as a standard development organization and accrediting body that promotes quality of continuing education and training.
